Hey Craig, I have no doubts on the benefits. But when you live together with other people where usage of mobile apps is high, the challenge is real.
If you can make more posts in the future on How-to - I'm interested.
I like reading life-hacks in general a lot. In theory you could embed 30 second videos from TikTok about the topic of your posts at the start or end of the post. Substack supports embeds from TikTok.
LinkedIn and Twitter is where I do the majority of my promotion, although I have recently been experimenting with Google Ads - which have proven to be surprisingly effective.
That's excellent to know. I'm also interested in exploring Ads though I have yet to determine which might be the most effective. What was your cost per click on Google?

Thanks Michael. More 'how-to' posts definitely in the pipeline. And yes, I'm going to explore the embed options that Substack helpfully provides.
What else are thinking to build sustainable traffic? Today I'm experimenting sharing on Flipboard.

I've averaged about 17 pence (GBP) per click.
Thanks! I'm in Canada so 1 GBP is $1.56 so an acceptable CPC.
